SCC sent 16 of us to the Lummi Nation for a week- long work mission project.  We were joined by other churches from California, Virginia, and a few others who had their own work mission project. For many of us it was our first time on a mission trip.  Many didn't really know what to expect. 
        The Lummi Nation is a Reservation 7 miles NW of Bellingham, Washington.  (95 miles north of Seattle)  The Lummi people consist of over 4,000 enrolled tribal members.
Outreach ministries included:
        A.  Retirement centers
        B.  Vacation Bible School
        C.  Cleaning and painting their homes
