IGNITE was two nights of powerful worship, hosted by LIFE Ministry, for young adults in the greater Seattle area.  Churches from all over greater Seattle were invited to be part of these evenings of great worship and inspirational preaching.

While there are many programs for youth, college students, and married people in our area, there seems to be a whole generation that is being forgotten – young adults.  This period in life is a time of great transition as careers, relationships, and friends pull people in different directions.  Sometimes one’s faith can become faint from all the competing voices vying for attention.   So IGNITE came out of a felt need for something that will encourage a generation of young adult Christ-followers who are passionately faithful in this critically important stage in life.  Our hope is that IGNITE can become an annual event involving the effort of a multiracial team of churches that will greatly impact Seattle and the world for Christ.

We were grateful to have had Pastor Alex Gee, from Madison Wisconsin, as our speaker for both evenings.  He is the Senior Pastor of Fountain of Life Worship Center, a growing multiracial church.  Pastor Alex is also the Founder and President of the Nehemiah Community Development Corporation.  He has published two books, is an educational and diversity consultant, and is a sought after speaker.
