LIFE
Ministry
LIFE
is one of those silly church acronyms for a ministry
focused on post-college, single adults at SCC.
It stands for "Living in Fellowship Everyday"
and accurately reflects the goals of this group.
In
the early years of SCC, a few folks started meeting
in small group for fellowship and accountability
with peers. They also prayed together and studied
the Bible to grow deeper in their understanding
of what God desired in their lives. Now, the group
has grown to a large flock of like-minded people
ranging in age from the early twenties to late
thirties.
The
LIFE group is a fun bunch meeting on Friday nights
for various studies and activities at 8 pm, often
having dinner together at 7 pm. Other activities
that have helped build relationships over the
years include rollerblading, hiking, camping,
softball, tennis, skiing/snowboarding, and even
going through an outdoor challenge course testing
people's trust and fears!

relationship with God and meeting other single
